Au Naturale
The local cathedral chimes eight times in the crisp morning air of Evry-Gregy, France. I know the vendors are likely already prepared for the day's customers, who will arrive with their floppy plastic woven tote bags, or if they're really serious, pulling fold-up shopping carts on wheels behind their sturdy black shoes. I far prefer to sleep in, but I hate to miss an open market in Europe, so when nine chimes sound, I poke Steve to remind him that we can't miss the market. He always has to get up early, so he would far prefer to sleep in, too, but we drag ourselves from our warm bed, and get ready for the cold of a March morning in a quaint little town south of Paris.
We have been to similar markets in so many places, and it never gets old. Food, clothing, knick-knacks, junk, household items, leather goods - so many things to be revealed. Most of my market photos are not digitized, as many of our trips were pre-SLR digital camera days, but eventually, I plan to organize the best and post them here. If you like market photos, check back from time to time. You might find something that will tickle you as much as it did me and Steve, when we first discovered it one mid-morning day in March.

Still working on gathering and digitizing these photos. Please check back again!
