Thank you for stopping by for a visit. I hope you will find something you can relate to within these pages. I am pleased to be able to share a little bit of my life with you. All of the artwork and writing are of my doing, as are all of the photographs, with the exception of the older photos and/or those I am a subject in, which were obviously taken by others.
Traces of our Lives
All of us leave traces of our lives behind, both while we're here on Earth as well as after we're gone. Little things lacking any monetary value become treasures to those who love us; a keychain, a broken watch, an address book, and such.
Facing the possibility of a shorter lifetime than I had always assumed I would have, the things I want to be known for, or the traces I leave behind me, have taken on a new importance.
None of us will take anything with us when we go, except what's in our hearts and in our heads. Nothing else will matter. So may I suggest that it might be of some use for each of us to consider what's in our heads and improve it, all the while adding more love to what's in our hearts. Then, when it's our turn to go, the traces we leave behind will have more import because of the kind of lives we led.
